• Johannes Fankhauser

I am a postdoctoral researcher specialising in the foundations and philosophy of physics at the University of Innsbruck. I received my PhD from the University of Oxford, where I worked on the foundations of quantum theory, in particular on questions of observability, predictability and indeterminacy. Prior to my PhD, I obtained a Master's degree in Philosophy of Physics at Oxford and a Master's degree in Physics at ETH Zurich, where I did my undergraduate studies in physics.

I am passionate about working with people who share my enthusiasm for ideas based on creative thinking in physics, philosophy, mathematics, and computer science. My interests extend to cool and innovative technologies and inventions. I'm committed to promoting education and fostering talent. To that end, I work on projects which help intellectually talented students develop their potential.
